You choose the subjects you are interested in, subject to some pre-requisite requirements, and you structure your own degree. There are around 20 subjects to choose from and students make unique combinations to suit their interests and ambitions. Many of our students choose to include a modern foreign language in their degrees, which includes a year abroad as well as wider skills for the employment market. Others complement their passion for English or History by exploring Philosophy, Archaeology, Religion, Sociology or Music. You then have the option to continue with all three subjects or only two subjects after the first year once you have found your ideal combination.
